Accessibility
We want FareNotify to be usable by as many people as possible. This page says what we do today, what we have not verified, and how to tell us about a problem.
What we do
- Pages use headings, landmarks and a "Skip to content" link so you can move around with a keyboard or screen reader.
- The sign-in and feedback forms label their fields, and buttons and links can be reached and used from the keyboard with a visible focus outline.
- Cookie choices can be made and changed by keyboard from the cookie banner and from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.
- Layouts adapt to small screens, and animations are reduced when your device asks for less motion.
- Alerts arrive by email, so you do not need to keep the site open to hear about a price drop.
What we have not verified
FareNotify has not had a formal accessibility audit, and we do not claim conformance with WCAG or any other accessibility standard. We have not tested every part of the site with every screen reader, browser and device. Interactive parts such as the date picker, price charts and pop-up windows may be harder to use than they should be for some people.
Tell us about a problem
If something on FareNotify is hard or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Write to [email protected], or use the Feedback page after you sign in. Tell us which page it was, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use if you know. We will review each report and try to fix genuine barriers.
